Arrive no later than 45 minutes before closing to enjoy the whole museum.
ParkingWe have free parking available for visitors on either side our 250 steam engine. Spaces are limited so parking is not guaranteed. Please ensure that you come in and get a parking pass from the front desk. |
Wilmington Railroad MuseumThe Wilmington Railroad Museum has a great collection of displays and fun activities for both adults and children.
Climb on a life-size fully outfitted caboose and a 110-year-old steam locomotive. Trace the development of railroads in the Wilmington area and learn about the men and women who worked on the railroad. Learn about the important figures in railroad history, such as Thomas Edison and George Pullman. Visit the Children's Hall with custom train tables and fun interactive models beloved by children of all ages. We also boast a spectacular model layout considered one of the best nationally and internationally featuring a number of foot pedals so you can interact with the trains and accessories. |
