STANDARD HOLIDAY CLOSURES

Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day, Easter, Fourth of July.

Admission Pricing

Adults - $12.00*
Seniors and Military Personnel - $10.00*
Children (3 years to 12 years) - $8.00*
Children under 2 - Free
Members - regular admission is FREE


* Admission reflects our cash price. There is a 3% convenience fee for cards.

All prices include NC sales tax as required by NC State Legislature effective Jan. 1 2014
The museum takes approximately one hour to visit.  Arrive no later than 45 minutes before closing to enjoy the whole museum.

Parking

We have free parking available for visitors on either side our 250 steam engine. Spaces are limited so parking is not guaranteed. Please ensure that you come in and get a parking pass from the front desk.

Wilmington Railroad Museum

Climb on a life-size fully outfitted caboose and a 110-year-old steam locomotive. 

Trace the development of railroads in the Wilmington area and learn about the men and women who worked on the railroad.

Visit the Children's Hall with custom train tables and fun interactive models beloved by children of all ages.

Explore our model train layouts we have over 1200 ft of HO, G, O, and N scale model train tracks. Interact with them through buttons and scavenger hunts!
