Wilmington Railroad Museum
The first batch of 120 bricks has been custom engraved. We will soon begin laying out a brick path in Railroad Heritage Square, leading from the porch to the caboose. This is a continuing program to commemorate your support of the Museum or to remember others, so as you purchase a brick, the walk grows and the Museum improves its programs and services. If you have not purchased a brick yet, please call the Museum at 763-2634 to obtain an order form and make your donation.
The Wilmington Railroad Museum is now a beneficiary organization for Food Lion. Every time you shop Food Lion, the Museum shares in the company’s corporate contribution program. In order for your purchases to count, please do the following:
Register your MVP card at www.foodlion.com and click on Lion Shop & Share under the “In The Community” heading on the left side of the page. Follow the prompts to select the state (NC), city (Wilmington), and recipient organization (Wilmington Railroad Museum). OR call 1-704-633-8250. All 12 digits of the number on your card provide the link to the Museum with each purchase.
ALTERNATIVELY, you may complete a registration form available at the Museum, and we will gladly enter your information for you. We need to enroll a minimum of only 25 members for the Museum to receive benefits through this program. It’s a great way to help the Museum on an ongoing basis, doesn’t cost you anything, and it shows your support throughout the year.
By becoming a member of the Wilmington Railroad Museum you can enjoy all of these pursuits for one full year with no additional costs. Just pick the membership level that best meets your needs. Memberships are tax-deductible.
You may join by calling the Museum at 910-763-2634 and providing your name and address and credit card information (Visa or MasterCard)
